Nikola got his BA degree on the Faculty of Drama Arts, University of Arts, in Belgrade, Serbia, and earned his MA degree on one of the best films schools in the world National Film and Television School in London, UK.
During his studies on NFTS, Nikola worked as a sound editor in a London based sound post production studio called Zound. So far he had an opportunity to work on the projects with Paolo Sorrentino, Mike Myers, Sean Penn, Margot Robbie, Michael Caine, Simon Pegg, Benedict Cumberbatch, John Malkovich, composers Hans Zimmer and Rupert Gregson-Williams and many others.
The short animation Nikola did sound design for “Sleeping with the fishes” won prestigious BAFTA award for the best short animation in 2014. For his sound work on the same project, Nikola was nominated in Los Angeles for MPSE Golden Reel award.
For his work on a feature film “Containment” Nikola won the award for the Best Sound Design in a feature film at Southampton International Film Festival in 2015.
